Giving Back - Committed To Our Community
Each month, the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano distributes enough emergency and supplemental food to provide 2.7 million meals. Many of our neighbors are unable to make ends meet and the Food Bank helps them cover one of life’s basic needs — nutritious food. We strive to serve all people experiencing hunger or food insecurity in Solano and Contra Costa counties and commit to never turn anyone away.. |
At East Bay SPCA, our Humane Advocacy Programs are here to support you and your pet. We specialize in providing a compassionate, comprehensive, and safe space for pet owners seeking assistance with their cats and dogs. Our Humane Advocacy program is here to help pet owners in need of support. We are more than a shelter, supporting the increasing and changing needs of animals and people in our community and beyond. We believe all people, regardless of their housing situation, income level, race, spoken language, or access to resources, should be able to experience the joys of the human-animal bond. |
Jim Walberg is a cancer thriver. Because of his experience with cancer he is committed to help fund the research needed to find cures. Cycle for Survival's indoor team cycling events raise funds that are critical for rare cancer research. 100% of every donation to Cycle for Survival is directly allocated to research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The donations go to pioneering research and clinical trials, and have already led to new and better treatments for cancer patients worldwide. |
